My Signature Package starts with your maternity session. Motherhood is an incredibly special time in a woman’s life. Not only is she bringing new life into the world, but she is also experiencing amazing changes in her own body. A maternity session is a chance to document this amazing time and to create beautiful images that will be cherished for years to come. Mom-to-be can choose to have her session in the comfort of her own home or at a location of her choice. Amelia Lane Photography offers a wide variety of beautiful maternity gowns for mom to wear during her session. I will work with mom to capture stunning images that showcase her unique beauty. These photos will be a treasured reminder of this incredible time in her life.
The next session in my signature package is your birth story. Birth is such an amazing time in your life- it is the moment you meet your child for the very first time. Birth photography captures all of the emotions and details of this amazing day that you will never want to forget. If you are on the fence about whether or not to have your birth photographed, here are a few reasons why you may want to consider it:
- Birth is an emotional rollercoaster ride. You will experience a range of emotions from excitement and happiness to fear and exhaustion. Birth photography captures these raw emotions so that you can re-live them again and again and witness things you surely missed in the moment.

You’ve just welcomed a beautiful new baby into the world. Birth is an amazing, life-changing event. Your whole world has shifted. You’re suddenly responsible for this tiny human being maybe along with older children to. It’s a lot to take in. Birth is also exhausting. You’re probably not getting much sleep and you’re adjusting to all of the new hormonal changes. An in-home lifestyle newborn session with Amelia Lane Photography might be perfect for you and your new family. First of all, I will come to you. This means that you don’t have to leave your home with a newborn. I will capture all of the intimate details of your newborn’s first few days at home- the little yawns, the tiny toes, the way they snuggle into your neck. I will also take some family photos so that you can have a record of this time in your lives. I have a few props and wraps so we can incorporate some wrapped and posed images of your little one for a more traditional feel also.
Birth is an amazing process- watching your baby come into the world is a moment you will never forget. For many mothers, however, the days and weeks after Birth can be a bit of a blur. You are adjusting to life with a new baby and all that comes with it- little sleep, lots of feeding and diaper changes! A Fresh 48 session is the perfect way to document those first few days while you are still in the hospital or birth center with your new baby. For many families this is preferred over an in-home lifestyle session. You will be given the option at booking which one you want and we can always make changes here if you would like. These sessions are relaxed and natural, focusing on you and your new family. I will come to the hospital/birth center within 48 hours of birth and spend an hour and a half or so photographing you all together- snuggles, feeds, cuddles, skin to skin. These sessions are some of my favorites to capture, as they are so special and raw.
From the moment you find out you’re pregnant, your life is changed forever. And when your baby finally arrives, it’s like your heart is walking around outside of your body. Those first few weeks and months are such a special time, and it goes by so quickly! That’s why a family session with the first year of your baby’s life is so special.
